Singing
Alice Howell is a dedicated and passionate singing teacher who has had classical singing training for ten years and performance training since childhood. In 2021, she graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with a first class BMus (Hons) degree in Music Performance (Voice).
She is a skilled, well-rounded and experienced classical singer and her performance experience includes: opera, classical recitals, choral works, musical theatre, vocal recordings, song-writing, dance and straight acting. She can teach in genres including, but not limited to: classical, choral, opera, musical theatre, jazz, pop and soft-rock.
She is currently a vocal tutor for fourteen private students of widely varying ages and abilities and she has previously worked as a peripatetic singing teacher where she taught across three primary schools. Her main teaching techniques include breath control and support, intonation, phrasing, musicality, languages (English, Italian, French and German) and acting through song.
