  • information regarding our students' music learning backgrounds, progress and learning information (including but not limited to lesson notes and assessment results); 

  • reviews from our students or their parents/guardians (for students under 18);

  • payment information of our students, their parents/guardians (for students under 18), enquirers, those interested in our services and our teachers;

  • professional information (including but not limited to work and employment details, education, references and DBS details) of our teachers and job applicants;

  • digital information (including but not limited to IP addresses) and details of your interaction with our website and social media channels; 

  • photographs, videos and audio footage of our students, our teachers and job applicants (but photos of children will only be published on our website or social media platforms with prior consent of their parents);

  • teaching preferences and availability of our teachers; and

How we get the personal information & why we have it

All the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • when you sign up for lessons and workshops with us and our school students’ concerts and activities; 

  • when you enter into contracts with the school;

  • when you make enquiries about our services;

  • when you sign up for our school's newsletter updates; 

  • when you participate in our school students’ concerts and activities; and 

  • when you communicate with us by email and other communication channels; 

  • when you engage with us by social media channels; and

  • when you visit our website (through use of cookies) 

We use the information that you have given us in order to:

  • respond to any enquiries in relation to and coordinate and arrange instrumental, vocal and music lessons and workshops;

  • respond to any other enquiries or complaints from you; 

  • keep newsletter subscribers updated about the latest information, services, products and activities of the school;

  • communicate with our students or their parents/guardians (for students under 18) about the music learning of our students; 

  • perform any contract between us and you; 

  • advertise, market and promote instrumental, vocal and music lessons and workshops provided by the school; and

  • examination boards; and
