Sue Yoshikawa is an accomplished violin teacher with a passion for nurturing musical talent across all ages and abilities. She holds a Bachelorβs Degree in Music from the Okinawa Prefectural University of the Arts, where she developed a deep understanding of musical performance and education.
With 6 years of teaching experience, Sue has guided students aged 4 to 64 in both one-on-one and group settings, helping them develop their technical skills, musicality, and confidence. Her teaching approach is patient, positive, and tailored to each studentβs unique learning style, making music enjoyable and accessible to all.
Beyond her teaching, Sue has performed extensively as a violinist and violist with ensembles such as the Akashi Philharmonic Orchestra and the Ryukyu Symphony Orchestra in Japan. She has also participated in prestigious international music festivals in Germany and Italy, including the Sondershausen Music Festival in Germany, where she received a music scholarship. Additionally, she has conducted music sessions for young children, blending her expertise in early childhood education with her love for music.
Currently based in London, Sue continues to share her passion for music through engaging and dynamic lessons, inspiring the next generation of musicians. Fluent in both Japanese and English, she brings a rich cultural perspective to her teaching and performance.
