At Canary Music School, many of our students first find us through recommendations from friends and families. We are always grateful when our students and parents help introduce new people to our musical community.

Our Referral Credit Programme is a simple way to say thank you. When you refer a new student to Canary Music School, you may receive £10 credit towards your own lessons or course fees.

Who can refer?

Any current or former student of Canary Music School is welcome to take part.

If a parent makes the referral, the credit will be applied to the student’s account.

Who can be referred?

You may refer a new student who has never registered with Canary Music School before.

This means the new student must not have:

• Taken a trial lesson for individual lessons
• Joined any group course or one day event
• Signed up for any other paid activity with us

If they have only attended a student concert as an audience member, they may still be treated as a new student for the purposes of this programme.

To make the referral count, the new student must write the name of the referring student when completing our registration form.

How does it work?

To receive Referral Credit:

• Tell a friend about Canary Music School and encourage them to register for one of our courses or a trial lesson for individual lessons
• When they complete the registration form, they must enter the referring student’s full name in the referral field
• Once the new student has completed registration and payment, we will apply £10 credit to the referring student’s account
• We will send an email once the credit has been added

Each new student can only name one referrer. The credit will be issued to the student named in the registration form.

What can the credit be used for?

Referral Credit can be used towards:

• Trial lessons
• Regular weekly or fortnightly individual instrumental or singing lessons
• Any group course series

Referral Credit cannot be used for:

• One off events
• Concert attendance
• Performances
• Merchandise

Important note about family members and combined family rates

Referral Credit is intended for introducing new students or families to Canary Music School.

A referral between immediate family members may still be eligible for Referral Credit, provided that the referred student is not already part of a combined family rate arrangement.

Where a combined family rate has already been applied, Referral Credit cannot be applied again on top of that arrangement.

However, if a family member registers separately and no combined family rate has been applied, Referral Credit may be issued, provided all other conditions of the programme are met.

• You may earn multiple credits. For example, if you refer two new students, you may receive £20 credit
• Multiple credits may be used together in one registration
• Referral Credit is valid for 1 year from the date it is issued
• Credit will only be applied after the new student has completed both registration and payment
• Each new student can only name one referrer
• Referral Credit has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash

Can this be used with other offers?

Referral Credit may be combined with our Multi Course and Family Saver Discount, provided the relevant conditions for each offer are met.

However, Referral Credit cannot be used where a combined family rate has already been applied.

Changes to this programme

Canary Music School reserves the right to interpret the terms and conditions of this programme, and to amend, suspend or withdraw the programme from time to time.
