About the Choir

Our Children’s Choir Group is a friendly and welcoming space for young singers in school years 3–6 to explore their voice, build confidence, and experience the joy of singing together. It’s ideal for children of all experience levels, whether or not they’ve had prior music or instrumental training.

The programme also includes basic music theory training, making it a great way for children to discover their interest in music—before committing to instrumental lessons or the cost of buying an instrument! We believe every child can sing — and that singing in a group helps develop not just musical skills, but teamwork, listening, and creativity.

🎶 What Will We Learn?

Each session includes:

• Fun vocal warm-ups and games

• Learning catchy and age-appropriate songs (a mix of classical, folk, pop and seasonal tunes)

• Introduction to music theory

• Developing basic vocal technique and musical expression

• Singing in unison and simple harmony

• Learning to perform with confidence

No prior experience is required. Children of all levels are welcome! Additionally, students will have opportunities to participate in the half-yearly student concert to showcase their progress (registration required).

Rehearsals are held every week at Isle of Dogs according to the school term.
