Multi Course and Family Saver Discount
Supporting students and families as they learn music with us.
Who is this for?
This discount applies to individual students taking more than one eligible course or regular weekly or fortnightly individual instrumental or singing lesson arrangement, as well as immediate family members learning with us during the same season.
A student may qualify if they enrol in:
- Two separate regular weekly individual piano lessons per week
- One regular weekly individual piano lesson and one regular weekly individual singing lesson
- One regular weekly individual lesson programme and one group course series
Each separate eligible course or lesson arrangement may count as one eligible registration, provided it meets the conditions below.
What is a season?
We divide the academic year into three seasons, with each season covering two school terms:

Each season is counted separately for discount purposes.
What counts as an eligible registration?
To qualify, each eligible registration must:
- Be registered and paid in full
- Be at least £100 in value
- Take place within the same season
Eligible registrations include:
- Whole term bookings for regular weekly or fortnightly individual instrumental or singing lessons
- Any group course series
The following are not eligible:
- Trial lessons
- One off events, such as concerts
- One time drop in classes
Important note about additional courses and lesson arrangements
The Multi Course and Family Saver Discount applies where a student or family has more than one eligible course or regular weekly or fortnightly individual instrumental or singing lesson arrangement running during the same season.
For the same student, the discount only applies where the student is enrolled in additional eligible courses or lesson arrangements at the same time.
A student may qualify if they enrol in:
- One regular weekly individual piano lesson and one regular weekly individual singing lesson during the same term
- One regular weekly individual piano lesson and one group course series during the same term
- Two separate regular weekly individual piano lessons during the same term
- Regular weekly individual lessons for two different instruments during the same term
However, if a student takes one group course or one regular weekly or fortnightly individual lesson arrangement in Term 1, then stops that arrangement and changes to a different group course or lesson arrangement in Term 2, this will normally be treated as one registration, not an additional registration, for the purposes of this discount.
If a student takes regular weekly individual piano lessons in Term 1, then stops piano and takes regular weekly individual singing lessons in Term 2, this will count as one registration, not two.
Similarly, if a student continues with the same group course or the same regular weekly or fortnightly individual lesson arrangement across both terms within the same season, this will also count as one registration.
This is because the discount is intended to support students and families taking multiple eligible courses or lesson arrangements at the same time, rather than changing from one arrangement to another within the same season.
Important note about combined family rates
In some cases, two family members may receive back to back individual lessons and be charged using a combined family rate.
Instead of charging two separate 30 minute lesson fees, we may treat the arrangement as one combined 60 minute lesson and apply the 60 minute rate.
Where we have already applied the most favourable combined rate in this way, this is treated as the maximum discount available for that arrangement. The Multi Course and Family Saver Discount cannot be applied again on top of the combined family rate.
In this case, the combined lesson arrangement will normally count as one eligible registration for the purposes of this discount.
How much is the discount?
At the end of each season, we will review the number of eligible registrations within the same season and calculate the discount as follows:

| 3 eligible registrations | 10% |
| 4 eligible registrations | 15% |
| 5 or more eligible registrations | 20% maximum |
The discount will be applied to the eligible course with the lowest fee within that season.
Where the discount is given as a refund, it will be returned to the original payment method after the end of the season.
Where the arrangement is recurring and confirmed at the time of registration, we may apply the discount directly to the invoice instead of issuing a refund later.
How to redeem
You do not need to email us for your first registration.
From your second eligible registration onward, please email us with:
- The names of all students
- The courses or regular weekly or fortnightly individual lesson arrangements they have registered for
- The season the registrations relate to
If you add more courses or lessons later in the same season, please email us again so we can update our records.
Deadline to notify us

Families and students must notify us by the final day of the relevant season in order to be considered for the discount.
Can this be used with other offers?
Yes, the Multi Course and Family Saver Discount may be combined with our Referral Credit Programme.
Changes to this discount
Canary Music School reserves the right to interpret the terms and conditions of this discount, and to amend, suspend or withdraw the discount from time to time.
