We understand that for many working adults, fitting music lessons around work, family and a changing weekly schedule can be difficult.
Our Online Open Lesson Slots are a pilot campaign offering a flexible way to book individual online music lessons without committing to the same lesson time each week or booking a full term in advance.
Whether you are learning for the first time or returning to music after a break, you are welcome to book any available Online Open Lesson Slot. Simply check the available slots and book a lesson when you find a time that works for you.
How Does It Work?
Available Online Open Lesson Slots for the following week are released every Friday.
Most slots are available before 3:30pm on weekdays, when our teachers may have availability between their regular teaching commitments. Later times may occasionally become available following changes or cancellations, but these are expected to be limited.
- Check the available lesson times.
- Choose a suitable lesson and time.
- Book and pay online.
- Receive confirmation of your lesson.
Availability varies from week to week. There is no guarantee that lessons will be available every week, at the same time or with the same teacher.
Pilot Campaign and Special Promotional Rates
Online Open Lesson Slots are currently offered as a pilot campaign, with the following special promotional rates: a 30 minute online lesson is £40, and a 60 minute online lesson is £54.
As this is a pilot campaign, availability will be reviewed from time to time and the campaign may be paused, changed or withdrawn at any time.
As these lessons are already offered at special promotional rates, no further discounts or promotional offers can be applied, including the Multi Course Discount and Referral Programme discounts.
Open Slots or Regular Lessons?
Online Open Lesson Slots are designed for flexibility. They do not reserve an ongoing lesson time or guarantee continuity with the same teacher.
They may suit adults whose work or other commitments make a fixed weekly schedule difficult.

Important Information About Your Booking
Online Open Lesson Slots are booked and paid for individually through our online booking system.
Once a lesson has been booked, it cannot be rescheduled and no refund will be provided if the student does not attend.
As these are online lessons, internet, platform, equipment or other technical difficulties may occasionally affect a lesson. It may not always be reasonably possible for Canary Music School to determine the source or responsibility for a technical disruption.
For this reason, a technical interruption does not automatically qualify for a refund or rescheduling.
If a significant part of the lesson cannot reasonably be delivered because of technical difficulties, Canary Music School will consider the circumstances on a case by case basis and may, where appropriate, offer additional lesson time, a makeup lesson, credit or a refund.
